Naomi -- 4 Months
Naomi went for her 4-month checkup yesterday. Shots awaited her, and she expressed her displeasure at the top of her lungs when she received them. She is around the 97th percentile on both weight and height -- she is a big girl!
Her stats:
Weight: 16 lbs 14 oz
Height: 26 1/2 in
Today we get to start her on cereal -- pics to come!

Jurassic Adventure
After dealing with viruses and ear infections, Naomi and Simon ventured out for some adventuring on Saturday.
Simon and cousins Henry and Ada take time for a photo with one of the many large creatures found at Dinosaur World in Cave City, Kentucky.
The whole gang pauses for a moment with the woolly mammoths. (L to R: NanaB, Laurie, Naomi, Henry, Ada, Granddaddy, Simon, Aunt Kelly)

The Continent Song
As most of you know, Simon started preschool at a local Montessori School at the beginning of August. He has learned so much already in his short time there, ranging in topics such as the names of all the planets, to counting and learning his colors in Spanish, to learning about the seven continents.
He has learned a song specifically about the continents. A lot of you have heard this song ... many times. :) We thought we'd share it with those who haven't heard it.
Lyrics:
"Continents, continents, you have to know your continents.
Continents, continents, all around the world.
Asia, Africa, North and South America.
Europe, Australia, Antarctica too!"
