the Miller Farm

Our friends, Sue and Roger Miller, were kind enough to invite Simon and his friend Maddie Denney over to see all of their animals. Even though the weather wasn't ideal, we had a great time. Thank you, Sue and Roger!!

Marathon Update (Updated)

As most people know, Cort is in Boston to compete in the Boston Marathon. The race was this morning, starting at 9 am Central Time. Just so everyone knows, he finished in 03.06.04 -- a personal record. I talked to him earlier, and he was in one piece (for the most part!). :) Thanks for everyone's prayers for him during this exciting time.

I'm sure he will do a more in-depth post here or on his running blog, but I wanted to update everyone in case they were wondering how he did.

Does anyone need any help cleaning out their kitchen cabinets? I know someone who could help!

Dinner and Dancing

Usually after dinner, Simon immediately heads to the refrigerator to play music on his Fridge Farm, entertaining us with his post-dinner dance moves. This weekend he was really feeling the groove, and we managed to catch some on video!

Another Nice Day

Occasionally when the weather is nice or warm, we let Simon walk home from the babysitter's house (they live one street over). Today was one of those days.















After dinner, we all put on shorts and went outside to play for a while.















The tree in our front yard passed the little man's inspection.

Outside Fun!

Although Simon has been a bit under the weather recently, that didn't stop him from enjoying the beautiful weather yesterday. We headed to the nearby neighborhood park to have a little fun.

He loved climing the stairs to the jungle gym/slide/whatever you call it. He's a big-time climber these days.















When we got back, he observed Daddy's mowing techniques.
