Six Weeks!

Here's a recent picture of the little lady. She turned 6 weeks old this past Friday. Where does the time go?

Fun in the Sun

On Friday, we went to a local pool with our friends the McClanahans. Simon was so excited to go with his friend Sydney, and her new little brother, "Baby JJ."

Simon even ventured out into the big pool with Daddy. He has come a long way from last year's pool experiences!














Seeing as how we are pool novices, we came ill-prepared for the fun. Sydney was kind enough to share her pool toys with Simon.

While the adults and the toddlers had fun in the water, Baby JJ and Baby Naomi had some fun of their own.

"I'm a Good Helper!"

During the past week, Simon has been showing us what a good helper he is. Below, he helps Daddy make some yummy garlic focaccia bread using dough they made in Daddy's bread machine.














Naomi also got her first bottle this week. Simon "helped" Daddy feed her.














On one of the hot days this week, the "red car" got one of its rare washes.

After Simon got done washing the car, we pulled out the sprinkler for him to play in. Sorry, we didn't get any pictures of him playing in the "stinker."

Bjorn to be Wild

We are a bit behind, so here are some updates from the last week or so. Cort's major summer travels are over, so we'll try to be more frequent with pics.

Basham Babies

On Friday, Naomi turned three weeks old! I can't believe the time has gone by so quickly. Here's picture of the little lady from earlier today.














When Naomi is not snoozing in her basket, Simon takes the opportunity to do a little lounging of his own.

Lessons from Granddaddy

For the last couple of weeks, Granddaddy has been coming to help out on some of the days Cort has had to work. During those days, he has taught Simon some important lessons ...

... like how to "play dirt." This includes shoveling dirt ...














... dumping dirt ...














... and getting covered up in dirt from head to toe.














Another important lesson that was learned was how to "paint" the house, Granddaddy's truck, the mailbox, the tree, the driveway. Of course, they painted with the best type of paint -- water.
